Our Journey.
Our Sound.
Our Story.
We Are Tsuki Noir is an international modern rock project built across borders, shaped by cinematic emotion, Japanese inspiration, and the belief that music can turn distance into connection.
The Birth of Tsuki Noir
We Are Tsuki Noir began as a vision: to create a band without borders, where musicians from different countries could come together through one shared sound.
Instead of being limited by geography, the project uses distance as part of its identity. Each member brings their own background, energy, and creative voice into a band built for the modern world.
From California to Japan, Australia, Chile, and beyond, Tsuki Noir is not just a location. It is a meeting point.
Modern Rock With Cinematic Energy
The sound of We Are Tsuki Noir blends modern rock, alternative metal, emotional melodies, and cinematic production.
Heavy guitars, powerful drums, deep bass, and expressive vocals create a sound that feels both aggressive and atmospheric.
The music is inspired by Japanese rock, anime, cyberpunk visuals, film scores, and the emotional intensity of bands that turn songs into worlds.

Marco Tricca
Producer & Founder
We Are Tsuki Noir was created by Italian-American producer, songwriter, and guitarist Marco Tricca, whose career has taken him from Italy to Los Angeles, where he has spent nearly two decades writing, producing, and collaborating with artists from around the world. With music featured in television and years of experience in both recording and live performance, Marco envisioned something different: a band built without borders.
Rather than assembling musicians from the same city, he imagined a project where talent, passion, and creativity mattered more than geography. Modern technology made it possible for artists living thousands of miles apart to write, record, and create together as one.
Inspired by his love for Japanese rock, cinematic storytelling, anime culture, and the emotional power of modern rock music, Marco founded We Are Tsuki Noir to prove that great music can unite people across cultures, languages, and continents.
How Tsuki Noir Was Born
The idea for Tsuki Noir began with a simple question: What if a band could be truly international from the very beginning?
Instead of searching for musicians in one local scene, Marco looked across the world. The result became something unique: five musicians from five different countries, each bringing their own culture, personality, and musical influences into a single, unified sound.
The name Tsuki Noir combines the Japanese word for "Moon" with the French word for "Black." Together they represent contrast—light and darkness, beauty and struggle, hope and uncertainty. Those themes became the foundation of the band's music, visuals, and storytelling.
Five countries.
One sound.
Light Inside The Dark
The name Tsuki Noir brings together two worlds: the moon and the darkness. It represents the idea that even in difficult places, light can still exist.
The songs are about freedom, identity, memory, distance, resistance, hope, and the ghosts we carry with us.
Every release is designed as a chapter in a larger universe: a place where rock music, cinematic visuals, and emotional storytelling move together.
